Event Description:
Join graduate student scientists from the Nanotechnology Enabled Water Treatment (NEWT) Center to learn about current water issues and technologies in our water-scarce world. You’ll choose from topics like: Water Desalination; Toilet-to-Tap Water Reuse; The Day Cape Town Almost Ran Out of Water; Where Does My Water Come From; and The Lead Pipe Crisis in Flint and Newark. Come investigate the motivation for and innovation behind technological advancements to provide safe, sufficient, and accessible water for all.
