Event Description:

Pain is a quintessential part of the human experience. But would it surprise you to discover that affliction can sometimes be the key to relief? As we cover transforming venoms into pain medications, repurposing drug side effects into new treatments, and using pathogens to produce life-saving vaccines, join us in exploring how the things that ail us can provide unexpected paths to recovery.

This talk will be hosted by the New Haven Free Public Library (NHFPL). All are welcome to attend!
