Videogames are everywhere! Did you know that videogames can be used to change the way you think or act? Or that they can be used by doctors, mathematicians or scientists for their jobs?  Join the Yale Center for Health and Learning Games (YCH&LG) team for this special Pathways to Science PLAY Café. Participants will learn about how our center creates these exciting games and why they are important. Participants will also get a chance to play games that the YCH&LG created on iPads and hear about how teens from New Haven County helped to design these games. Participants will also get to learn a little bit about virtual reality and play one of our newer games that has been developed on a virtual reality headset. Snacks will be provided. For more information visit play2prevent.org & play2play4rlab.org or contact maria.parente@yale.edu.
Free admission. Open to Yale Pathways Scholars in Grades 6-8. Registration to open in late February at onhsa.yale.edu/playcafe2020. Limited to 25athways students.
