Event Time:
Sunday, October 18, 2020 - 2:00pm
Location:
Zoom instructions will be sent to accepted students and their parents/legal guardians. See map
Event Description:

Learn about biology and view the microscopic world with your very own foldscope! In part 1 on October 18 you will meet members of Yale’s Colón-Ramos lab as they give you a behind-the-scenes tour of a neuroscience lab and talk about their pathways to science (and why they LOVE using worms to study the brain!).  In part 2 on October 25, you will use your very own paper ‘Foldscope’ microscope (google it – it’s cool) and explore the many wonders of the microscopic world, including bacteria, single-cell organisms, insects, organic tissues and more!
Open exclusively to Pathways students in Grades 6-12. Registration opens mid-September at onha.yale.edu/bioday
