Event Description:

Have you ever wanted to create computer programs? Did you take SheCode’s session last semester? Yale Pathways high school students (or 8th graders who have attended a previous SheCode session) are invited to this special four-part program run by Yale college students in computer science. They will teach you how to code in a language called Python, where you will learn the more advanced coding techniques, develop your own applications, and be mentored by strong, amazing women at Yale! At the last session, you will have time to work on a project and a celebratory pizza lunch will be included!
Registration is limited to 50 Pathways students. Snacks will be served. Attendance at all four sessions is strongly recommended. Please note, the content is the same as Spring 2019. No previous experience required.
Free admission. Open to Pathways high school girls and previous program attendees in the 8th grade. Registration is now closed.
