We are back!

This award-winning lecture series is designed for families to bring the excitement of research and the passion of scientists to the community. Each event involves a lecture by a Yale professor and tons of hands-on science demonstrations run by Yale students, including an inflatable planetarium! Bring the whole family! Refreshments and coffee will be served. 

Our first post-pandemic event features Dr. Albert Ko, an infectious disease specialist at the Yale School of Public Health, who will talk about “How We Use Science to Protect People from Epidemics.” Lectures are geared towards 7th graders and up but all ages can join. 

10am-11am: Hands-on Science Demos!
11am-12pm: Lecture by Dr. Albert Ko (How We Use Science to Protect People from Epidemics)

Parking: Sterling Chemistry Laboratory is located at 225 Prospect Street, New Haven. Parking is available across the street at the Prospect- Sachem Garage. You can GPS to the garage. Please note that you enter the garage by first entering the Yale Ingalls Ice Rink parking lot and turning right.   We will have A-frame signs on the street to get you to Sterling Chemistry Laboratory. 

Open to the public. No registration required! Bring the whole family!
