Why is the Arctic warming faster than the rest of the planet? Why are we so worried about the loss of sea ice? Come learn from Prof. Mary-Louise Timmermans how the polar oceans regulate Earth’s climate.
Science Saturdays is a special lecture series designed for families that brings the excitement of research and the passion of scientists to the community. Each event involves a lecture by a Yale professor and hands-on science demonstrations run by Yale College students. Bring the whole family! Refreshments will be served. Parking is available at the Sachem-Prospect Garage on Prospect Street. This series occurs three times each semester.
