To help prevent transmission of COVID-19, Yale is currently canceling or postponing all Yale-hosted events until further notice. We will be updating this website and calendar frequently as new information becomes available.

Join us for a new hands-on demonstration & lecture series for the community hosted by the Diversity Committee at the Yale School of Medicine!  Each event is designed for families and involves a lecture by a Yale Medical School professor and hands-on health-related demos by Yale medical students and organizations. Bring the whole family! This session will feature Dr. Nii Addy, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, whose work focuses on neuroscience research of substance use, particularly in adolescents. He will give his talk: The Brain Science of Addiction, Depression & Anxiety. Hands-on demonstrations will include healthy versus unhealthy pig lung specimens, COVID-19 information, the ins & outs of newborn exams, blood pressure kits, and more.

Open to the Public. Bring the whole family! No registration required!
