Event Description:

*POSTPONED*
To help prevent transmission of COVID-19, Yale is currently canceling or postponing all Yale-hosted events until further notice. We will be updating this website and calendar frequently as new information becomes available.

Join the Society of Women Engineers at Yale for an engineering extravaganza! Come learn about the different types of engineering and participate in exciting hands-on design challenges with other middle school students from across Connecticut. Throughout the day, students will interact with engineering students and professional engineers. At the end of the day, students will participate in an Ask an Engineer panel to learn about paths towards engineering and what engineering jobs are really like. We also invite parents and educators to join us for a concurrent workshop, where we will provide strategies for continuing to engage children in STEM.
Open to Connecticut students in 6-8th grade. Registration will open in late February at engineeringday.com
