Pathways Engineering Day: Building a Light Tracking Car

For the latest installment of Pathways Engineering Day, led by the Yale Society of Women Engineers, we welcome high school students with interests ranging from electronics and programming to biology and environmental engineering. No previous experience is needed all students will be provided with a few basic building blocks which they will transform, in just a few hours, into a functioning light-tracking automaton, learning about circuits, batteries and motors. Students will get the chance to live a day in the life of an engineer: to play with creating, troubleshooting, and adding innovation to their own project.
