Event Description: 

How does your brain make you conscious? How does it help control hunger? Which animal can go over half a year without eating because of its brain anatomy?
Yale Pathways Scholars are invited to explore neuroscience through brain-related trivia and scientific talks from Yale graduate student neuroscientists. Sharif Kronemer will explore the who, what, where questions on human consciousness. Sarah Mohr will explain how our brain controls hunger. In the process ,you’ll meet a special animal that can go over six months without eating (Hint: It has thirteen stripes and lives underground). Come explore the brain with us!
