Event Description:

A virtual program for Black-Identifying students (but open to all) to explore the rich world of African-American studies. The J.M. Bolin Program provides students with an opportunity to develop study skills and teamwork as they reflect on readings and Yalie-taught curriculum. The program also works to promote African-American studies seminar-style discussions, and accompanying study skills. The program will expose participating students to the work of Yale professors and connect them with Yale students. Immerse yourself culturally and academically in college-style seminars alongside Yale professors and students!

Open to Grades 9-12 in New Haven public schools. Application deadline was 10/29:  onha.yale.edu/jmbolin2021
