Event Description:

The Jane Matilda Bolin Program at Yale is an academic and cultural enrichment program designed to engage high school students of African descent (but open to all!) based on a similar program at Harvard University. Based on Yale’s campus, the Jane Matilda Bolin Program provides students with an opportunity to develop study skills and teamwork as they reflect on readings. The program also works to promote African-American studies, college seminar-style discussions, and study skills. The program also exposes New Haven students to the work of Yale professors and connects them with Yale students. JM Bolin will take place on Zoom during the 2020-20201 academic year. Applications for the 2020-2021 program closed on October 15th, 2020.
