Humanities Now presents “A Study Of American Freedom: What is the history of Frederick Douglass’ searing Fourth of July Speech.” Professor Daniel Schillinger will guide students as they engage in a deep dive of American Freedom through an interactive presentation on Douglass’ speech, analyzing it from a political, philosophical, and of course, a historical lens.
