HPREP (Health Professions Recruitment & Exposure Program)

HPREP is a nationwide high school Saturday science enrichment program aimed at recruiting students from diverse backgrounds and those who have faced social and economic barriers, into careers in the sciences and health professions. Under the mentorship of minority graduate and professional students, high school HPREP participants are introduced to various topics within medicine and public health. Each session will feature presentations about different fields of medicine, delivered by Yale Faculty, and small-group workshops and activities. Five scholarship prizes will be awarded to the five top-engaged students with the best final presentations. HPREP 2024 will begin on Saturday, October 5th, and conclude on November 23rd. Sessions will be held on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Yale School of Medicine (breakfast will be provided).
