Application OPEN for Qiu Group Summer Undergraduate Research Intern 2022

Event Description: 
The Qiu group at Yale University is seeking an undergraduate summer intern. The group develops new computational tools to study how materials interact with light. The intern would be responsible for documenting and benchmarking the performance of a highly-parallel software package for studying nonequilibrium optical response. Rising juniors and seniors majoring in physics, materials science, computer science, or a related field are preferred. Prior programming experience in python or similar languages is not required but may be helpful. 
 
All undergraduates are welcome to apply. We strongly encourage applications from students historically underrepresented in STEM fields. The start and end dates are flexible (approximate dates: June 15 - August 15)
 
Salary: $15.15/hr for 40 hours/week
