Yale Pathways to Arts & Humanities Summer Scholar Program invites high school students from the New Haven, West Haven, and Orange (Amity) public schools to study a range of Arts and Humanities subjects at Yale for two weeks. The program provides hands-on workshops that will spark young students’ imaginations. This summer there will be visual art workshops hosted by the Yale School of Art, a workshop on art and protest hosted by the Beinecke rare book and manuscript library, and more! The curriculum is designed by Yale University faculty, graduate and professional students, as well as teachers from local public schools. Yale students serve a vital role as teaching assistants and mentors.

The dates for this year’s summer program are June 25-30, July 2-7 (off July 4). The program will run for five days a week, 9AM to 4PM. The program will again be held on Yale University’s campus in compliance with university, local, and state and federal health and safety guidelines. Yale Pathways to Arts & Humanities Summer Scholars upholds a strict attendance policy and only considers students who can commit to attending every day of the program.

OPEN TO NEW HAVEN, WEST HAVEN, & ORANGE PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CURRENTLY IN GRADES 9-11. For more information and to apply, click HERE.
