First-year undergraduates who are currently enrolled in a public college or university in the Greater New Haven area are also invited to apply.

The View From Here is a free five-month online program for young people in Greater New Haven who are interested in learning about photography. Participants will receive a stipend and will work with curators, conservators, artists, and professional photographers to learn about all aspects of photography. Using the collections at Yale University, students will explore original works by a variety of artists, learn about the history of photography from analog to digital, and discover new and innovative ways to compose and take their own photographs. The course will culminate in an online exhibition of student work created during the program.
