Have you ever played a video game or browsed a website and asked, “How does this work?” Yale Pathways Scholars in grades 6-8 are invited to register for SheCode, a program that empowers girls and gender minorities interested in coding! Students will learn how to build programs using Scratch alongside women in Computer Science at Yale. Scratch is a powerful online platform that introduces basic coding concepts in a fun way, allowing students to build their own animations and minigames.

While the goal of SheCode is to encourage young women and gender minorities to explore coding, ALL students are welcome to attend.

Open to Pathways Scholars in grades 6-8.

Registration for this event will be sent by email to eligible students.
