Teacher Resources

Professional Development and Beyond

Yale’s partnership with local schools extends to educators, too. Teachers are invited to join seminars led by Yale professors, conduct research in Yale labs, and collaborate with peers through innovative professional development programs. Alongside these opportunities, free lectures, exhibits, and events across campus welcome the entire community to keep learning and growing together.

Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute

Empowering Teachers. Enriching Classrooms.

The Yale–New Haven Teachers Institute is a partnership between Yale University and New Haven Public Schools that strengthens teaching and learning through collaboration. Yale faculty and local teachers work together in seminars to deepen subject knowledge and develop new curriculum units for their classrooms. The Institute fosters professional growth, innovation, and cross-school collaboration—enhancing education in New Haven and serving as a national model for university–school partnerships.
