Yale’s Undergraduate Society of Women Engineers invites local middle schoolers on campus to Medieval Engineers: The Catapult Contest to learn about the science and engineering involved in building a catapult. Students create prototypes of their designs and measure the catapult performance to find which projects the ball the furthest with the most accurate trajectory.
