The Discover Immunology Program is a two-week after-school workshop series where Hill Regional Career High School students explore how immune cells called macrophages fight infection. Through hands-on lab experiments, students study phagocytosis and gain experience with culturing techniques, assays, and fluorescent microscopy—building real-world skills in biomedical research.
