Shafer Family Summer School Scholarships for Yale University Summer Session

The Shafer Family Summer Scholarship is a competitive scholarship to fund talented rising high school seniors in New Haven Public Schools, and with a need for financial assistance, to attend Yale Summer Session. The Scholars enroll in two Yale Summer Session courses for college credit and live in the Yale Summer Session Summer Colleges on the Yale campus with Yale College and visiting college and high school students from across the country and around the world. The scholarship funds Yale Summer Session course tuition and room and board; in addition, the Scholars receive an allowance for textbooks and a stipend.
