Students look up as their rockets launch at Girls' Science Investigations in 2024
Sloane Physics Laboratory
217 Prospect Street New Haven, CT 06511

Girls' Science Investigations (GSI) was founded in 2007 -- since then, hundreds of students have participated each year. The mission of GSI is to motivate, empower, and interest middle school students in developing the skills they need to pursue careers in science. University students and professors act as mentors and provide a context for exploring and understanding the various disciplines of science through hands-on activities in a laboratory environment.

At GSI: The World of Circuits, students will discover how electricity flows, learn the fundamentals of circuit design, and use real components to build and test their own creations at the Yale Physics Department.

The mission of Girls’ Science Investigations is to motivate, empower, and interest girls in developing the skills they need to pursue careers in science, but ALL are welcome.

Open to ALL students in grades 6-8.

This event requires registration. Register at onha.yale.edu/GSIFall25.
