APPLICATION DUE: Medical Specialty Exposure Pipeline (MSEP) 2026
- Mon Dec 1, 2025 11:59 p.m.—11:59 p.m.
Join Yale physicians of various specialties– pediatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, internal medicine, psychiatry, emergency medicine, surgery, and more–for fun, interactive case seminars! Each seminar will begin with symptoms of a real medical case that we will work together to diagnose, and you will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on activity that highlights that particular field! Additionally, you will learn directly from Yale physicians as they describe their unique journeys to medicine! All students are encouraged to apply. MSEP is a program designed to improve access to healthcare careers for students and to remove barriers for those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, first generation college students, or individuals who have faced significant challenges in their educational journeys. Through career insight, networking opportunities, and clinical exposure, we hope to foster pathways toward our next generation of medical specialists!
Dates: MSEP takes place on Saturday mornings once a month from January to May, for a total of 5 sessions. Exact dates are TBD.
Location: Yale School of Medicine
Apply by Monday, December 1, at 11:59 PM: onha.yale.edu/MSEP2026. Open to local students in grades 9-12. The MSEP Team will review applications in December and announce admissions decisions in January. Accepted students will be asked to confirm their availability for the exact dates upon admission. Content may repeat from previous years, so we ask that students who have participated previously allow other students a chance to join!
