Are you a student with a knack for languages, logic and computational thinking? Would you like to try your hand at deciphering an ancient script or deducing the logical patterns of Swahili or Hawaiian? If so, then you should participate in the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad (NACLO) – a contest for high school students to learn and solve challenging linguistics problems drawn from a variety of languages. No prior knowledge is required. Yale students and faculty will work with you! Registration is first-come-first serve.
To register, visit: https://onha.yale.edu/naclo2526
Open to students in 8th - 12th grades.
