Event Description:
Design for America (DFA) invites Pathways middle school students to discover how to create their own video games. In Workshop #1, learn the basics of Flowlab game creator and design thinking problem solving. In Workshops #2 and #3, turn ideas into a functional game that can be published on the Android, Apple, and Amazon app stores. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with other Pathway scholars to develop their gameplay concepts and test their prototype with friends and family.
