Curator Melissa Barton will describe her process in curating the Fall 2020 exhibition on Women and American theater, including materials relating to Lorraine Hansberry and her landmark play A Raisin in the Sun. Students will have the opportunity to view original materials relating to the 1959 Broadway production of A Raisin in the Sun. Students will then have a chance to try their hands at planning an exhibit layout using materials from Beinecke’s collections.
