Event Description:
Join the Society of Women Engineers at Yale to code your own light-up device called the SpinWheel! Over four interactive sessions, we will light up a series of LEDs and create colorful, controllable electronic designs. Dive deeper into coding with Arduino, the physics behind motion, and how our eyes see color. These sessions will feature small group workshops and will culminate in a Final Masterpiece Project where students will design their own creations via their SpinWheels. We will be sending each registrant a free SpinWheel to keep.

There will be a mandatory pre-session office hours on April 1st from 5pm - 6pm to ensure that all participants have the software downloaded. Please see the link below for more information. If there are any issues please reach out to serrae.reed@yale.edu

OPEN TO 10 PATHWAYS FEMALE STUDENTS IN GRADES 9-12. REGISTRATION REQUIRED AT onha.yale.edu/spinwheel2021
